MAC Peaches is a pure unadulterated hit of peach – hence the name. Lovely matte effect too (for when you want to be on one of those shimmer-free days) I use this as an everyday colour to work and goes well with just about everything – pair up at night with darker lips and a nude lipstick/gloss for that extra oompH.  You really can’t go wrong with this colour and I think every girly should have this in her make-up drawer.

I bought MAC Margin on a whim (something I really need to stop doing as it does not always work out!) – it looked really good on whilst I was in the shop (bright lights and all that) but I stand reserved on my feelings now. This was a peachy almost-orange colour with noticeable golden shimmer – a frost finish too.

Looked good on me on some days – not so good on others. Really hard to find a lipstick colour with this one – I normally end up with something nude or light pink. I think the orange undertones clash with my olive skin. It’s a love-hate relationship with this one I’m afraid. Maybe the colour would better suit someone with a fairer skin tone.

MAC Peachykeen is my very first blush powder from MAC! It’s a darker shade of peach-pink and I love(d) the tone of it against my olive skin. You can see from the picture that I used loads of it and have almost none left. I stopped using it as I realized that sometimes I was too dark and clashed with my eye shadow or lipstick.

I still use it when I have one of my many natural days as I barely use any eye makeup then, so this darker shade of pinky-peach really works!

Finish: Satin

MAC Dame was my last go to blusher until I found MAC Melba (review here). This baby pink matte number I think would suit anyone, it’s quite light to look at but fret not – its darker when applied. It’s one of the blushes I call ‘easy to wear’ as it suites with most lipsticks and glosses, provides just the right amount of colour to your apples and makes me look sweet and demure in the process! A good un’ all round.

MAC Melba was part of my wedding make up kit – I went to the MAC counter in Covent Garden and found my favourite artist G there. I told her I was getting married and wanted a pink or peach colour that would bring out my olive toned skin, but wouldn’t take over my face (c’mon people it has to be about the dress on that special day no?!) hahaha!  🙂 I didn’t make it easy for her (bless her), I also wanted a matte colour that would suit the summer wedding I was having (I got married in June and in December, in London and in Asia – same man of course, as not everyone could afford to attend both)

She instantly picked out MAC Melba blusher, a soft pink-peach offering with just the right amount of colour to her – one of my daily work colours. Its matte as well, so perfect for a everyday use sort of blush.
