When the better half started his own business, he became eligible to become a member of Costco – a wholesaler that stocks everything from garden furniture, to socks, to outdoor pools. Its MASSIVE. and believe me when I say, most of their things come in bulk – you cannot just buy one box of cereal, you have to buy all 6 – at a massively reduced price. Be prepared to buy a lot when you come here – I mean, its really good value for money, but my refrigerator is tiny. Right now- we are up to our eyeballs in frozen fish, meat, veg, prawns, squid etc etc.
Still it didn’t stop us from trying to fill the house with great bargains. We got tons of great deals and we are definitely coming her before we have our annual barbeque this July – the meats are great – all British (we bought 4 Angus beef mature steaks).
Here are (a few) of the things we bought and some funny things we saw – believe me, this would be the longest post in the world if i had to take every picture (and you would be bored to death!)
Comfort shag anyone?
No guesses on who’s alcohol belonged to who!
I thought the colours were lovely on this new vodka! Anyone try it yet? I’m not the biggest vodka drinker so I don’t think i’ll buy a bottle – might buy a bottle someday just because they are so pretty coloured!
Me and the better half realised that we grew up on the same biscuits when we were younger – how odd! LOVE the biscuits (especially the ones with the sugar topping!!)
This is what we had for dinner tonight- courtesy of Costco!
We will definitely be going back – not so soon, as its quite a distance to travel, but I think once a month, or one every couple of months (when the booze and biscuits run out) we might just pop in!
