East Sussex Christmas in January you say? Rock and roll baby

Over Christmas, we ran out of time to visit some really special people in our lives and promised to see them in January.  Imagine our surprise upon arriving in the glorious East Sussex where they have the most gorgeous, lovely house to find that they had set up the table for Christmas Dinner – complete with a roaring fire and Christmas Crackers! Just when you thought Christmas was over… Alas! An East Sussex Christmas #2 I think! Oh Yes!

Now our Christmas dinner at home turned out, well, not so good – we managed to dry out the turkey both times we had Christmas Dinner parties, and the beef was hard.  This time – the turkey they made was GORGEOUS. Soft and moist and how a turkey should taste. There was also home-made lobster bisque soup (lobster was humanely killed of course) and then after that we had home-made Pannetone and cheese and biscuits.  Just lovely.  An East Sussex Christmas in January? Cracking!
