I took a rest from baking after Sunday – where I went completely crazy and bakes three different types of cakes for N’s charity bake sale, if you fancy Blueberry Cupcakes, Moist Banana Loaf With Chocolate Chips and Boston Cream Cupcakes – knock yourself out and take a peek at the recipes hyper-linked.
Yesterday, I realised that I had bought some lamb mince as I wanted to bake some treats for the babies on Sunday, but after spending God knows how long in the kitchen, I didn’t want to see the oven anymore that day. And so, yesterday, I hauled my big fat bum off the sofa and got to work. I was going to be baking the pooches some Mini Meat Balls!
Here what you need for this delicious recipe that will have your pooches running back for more! Be careful though, these are high in calories, so not too many!
What you need;
- 300 grams lamb or turkey mince
- 1 egg
- 50 grams brown rice flour (I used brown rice)
- 1 tsp parsley
Put all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until you have a soft consistency like bread dough
Roll the mixture into small marble-sized balls and place on a lightly greased baking sheet . Put them into the fridge for an hour so they really hold their shape when they are baking.
After an hour take the mini meat balls out of the fridge, heat the oven to 180degC/350F/Gas 4 and cook for 45 minutes. They should be hard rather than crumbly. If you have used lamb, then drain off the fat.
Feed lovely mini meat balls to good little pooches!
Happy baking lovelies and happy eating doggies! 🙂
