A very cold walk in Buchan Park – East Sussex. Brrrrrrr.

After a gorgeous cooked breakfast (our first of 2013) we decided to take the doggies on a lovely walk at Buchan Park, a 10 minute drive from where we were.  Living in London, the parks we are used to are almost, sculpted, with their perfect rose gardens and pristine mowed lawns. Don’t get me wrong  – we love our parks, but the grass is sometimes greener in East Sussex perhaps?  Of we went, and I don’t know who was more excited – me or the dogs.

The park is stunning.  Absolutely stunning. There was a lovely lake and acres and acres of woodland – as far as the eye could see. The smell of damp wood (it was raining a little) was so different to what we are used to and as you can imagine – the babies went W.I.L.D.  yes. As did we. Ok. Just me.

Here are some pictures I took:

This was the first thing I saw as we walked in. Just beautiful

You don't get this in London - none Ive seen anyway!

I would love to take the babies on walks like these everyday – my hunters were right at home in this terrain!
