I am obsessed with Zara. Their ‘Trafaluc’ range is one of my favourites – and this lovely jacquard dress(£29.99) is from their range. I know I can never go to Zara and come back empty handed – which is why I should never go there really. The brilliant tailoring is awesome and their prices so reasonable – Zara is one of the best high end, high street brands out there in my humble opinion of course.
I bought this dress in December – it was to be my something new for the New Year. When I first saw it – I must admit that I was in two minds over it – I mean, at first glace, they resembled my grandmas old curtains – a little vintage. I picked it up, meandered round the shop a bit more, dropped it, then picked it up again. This continued for half an hour until I just bit the bullet and bought it – after all, almost everything I own is black and this dress was a lovely shade of wine. I don’t know why – this dress looks very vintage without it being old – does that make any sense? Thought not.
I paired it with my trusted KG suede Mary Janes – never get tired of those.
