Tuesday night, after my nightly routine of scraping off my makeup and scrubbing my face, I noticed patches of dry skin appearing down the sides of my cheeks and around my nose. SEXY. Ive always suffered from temperamental skin – bits of it dry, some of it oily and all of it very annoying. Winter is the worse as the radiator comes on, sending my skin into overdrive. I have pimples and milia, which camp out permanently on my skin, waiting to attack me at all angles. Ok, rant over.
Praise the Lord for Dr Perricone’s High Potency Evening Repair – this lovely, non-fragrant, ultra absorbing light moisturiser which leave the skin feeling instantly lifted and smooth from the first application. After a week of constant use – my skin is definitely softer, and the dry skin that plagues my life has all but gone (I also use Perricone’s intensive Moisture Therapy by day). Two weeks on, I am a Dr Perricone convert. Considering I have spent a considerable amount on drk skin care over the years, suffice to say – I am over the moon. My terrible acne/pimples/milia have also been significantly reduced – which is amazing.
This magic cream’s ingredients include 400% more Alpha Lipoic Acid* (ALA) than the original formulation, which is a powerful antioxidant that promotes healthy cell function, boosts skin’s radiance, and minimizes enlarged pores and surface imperfections. DMAE* (dimethylaminoethanol) (Dr Perricone’s secret signature patented ingredient) is also included, and this helps in the fight by firming, toning and tightening the skins appearance. This retails at £78.00 which is a crazy amount to spend on believe me I know – but this is worth it, just think about it this way – the amount of money you spend on other creams will all add up. Might as well just spend the £78.00 on one miracle worker. More cupboard space too. Win-Win for all!

* DMAE is a naturally occurring nutritional substance with powerful anti-inflammatory properties; it is found in fish including wild Alaskan salmon, anchovies and sardines.
